So far this year the tomato harvest has been really good and no sign of late blight yet despite the rain and wind which has dominated the weather since July. I’m growing the same varieties as last year, namely; Akron – my standby maincrop’ large tomato; San Marino – the best Italian plum tomato; Mountain Magic – a large and sweet cherry tomato and Marmande – the classic French slicing tomato.
