Last year I managed to grow one or two aubergine plants which gave me a couple of reasonable fruits. This year I grew four plants which never really got going in the greenhouse. I had one small but usable aubergine from those plants and when I came to clear the plants this week they were still producing masses of flowers but there was just on remaining fruit – pictured below…melanzane parmigiana anyone?!!
